Booking windows and timing

Online parking can be pre-booked up to twelve months before arrival, and the online flow closes around two hours before your arrival time. Those are the two ends of the window. Book outside it and the online flow isn't available to you.

You can still park without a pre-booking. Drive-up parking exists at the airport, but you won't have a QR code in a confirmation email, and you won't have locked in an online rate. Pre-booking is the airport's recommended route.

Which car park is closest to my terminal

The T4 Terminal Car Park is about 100 metres from Terminal 4, according to the airport. Premium is the closest of the general options to the main terminals. Terminal parking is walkable and slightly further.

Value is the outlier: it connects by free shuttle rather than on foot, split across Value North and Value South. Match the car park to your terminal before you book, especially if you're flying from T4.

If two terminals are on the itinerary — dropping someone at T2 before your own T4 departure, say — pick the car park attached to the terminal you'll return through. Coming back to the wrong end of the airport at midnight is the part people regret.

The airport presents an Overstay Guarantee as an add-on during the booking process, positioned as cover for itinerary changes. You don't have to take it — it's an optional line item in the online flow, and the booking completes without it.

Arriving early or late
